Castlebar Woodwork is a family owned business founded in 1968 to supply joinery products to the building trade in the West of Ireland. The company now supplies both private individuals and business throughout Ireland with the highest quality custom made joinery and furniture.
The company workshop is based in Castlebar where all their timber products are manufactured. Our carpenters and Joiners work with all types of timber. All our products are made from solid wood and are finished off to the highest standard.
We offer a one-stop-shop where we can supply windows, external doors, stairs, kitchens and internal doors with skirting and architrave to complement all the timber work throughout the house.
Clients can bring their own designs to CWW or alternatively by consulting with the Joiners themselves decide on the most suitable design to suit the client needs. CWW can either supply only or supply & fit basis.
DOORS
Our company specialises in custom made products. We make external and internal doors in hardwood timber. Customers can bring their own design to us or alternatively by consulting with the carpenters themselves decide on the most suitable design. We not only make standard sizes but also off standard sizes.
We supply or supply and fit. We can also supply the doors pre-hung and pre-finished.
HANDLES AND LOCKS
Castlebar Woodwork is the sole supplier AYR hardware in the Republic of Ireland. Ayr are manufacturers of the most innovative handles and locks for internal doors.
The most innovative product is their Magna-latch; this is a magnetic lock for internal doors. It is easier to assemble, it works smoothly and silently due to the lack of friction between the slide and the stricke plate. The most rigorous tests and trials have proven the perfect functioning of the latch for more than 500,000 cycles, which translated more simply, means that it will work in perfect conditions for more than 150 years, with an average use frequency of 8 operations per day. Castlebar Woodwork manufacture, supply and fit hardwood windows, both casement and sliding sash, custom made to suit each of our customers requirements and tastes.
STAIRS
Our company also manufactures, supply and fit stairs, any design or wood to suit our clients requirements and tastes. We make complete staircases, handrails, spindles, Newel posts, Newel caps, banisters and balustrades.
KITCHENS
We also manufacture hardwood kitchens to whatever design our client requires, modern or traditional designs.
SKIRTING AND ARCHITRAVE
We supply moulded skirting and architrave in any design or wood.
