Aspire Architecture was founded in 2005 by Paul Lee. In 1996 Paul obtained both a degree in architectural science from Trinity College, Dublin and a diploma in architecture from the Dublin Institute of Technology. He has worked with architecture practices in Dublin and Cork since then, gaining experience in a wide range of projects from domestic buildings and apartments to commercial and public sector buildings such as hospitals, offices and schools.

Paul became an associate member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI).

Aspire Architecture was founded as a practice that puts people first. Aspire believes that business is based primarily on trust, which must be established as early as possible in the architect-client and architect-builder relationships and maintained throughout. The primary tool for establishing trust is good clear communication. Aspire outlines fees in a clear concise manner prior to commencing work and has a strict policy of communicating and obtaining agreement on foreseen and possible unforeseen fee costs prior to occurrence. Aspire believes in establishing a high degree of understanding with the contractor, with reasonable agreement on of the building specification and programme.

Aspire keeps daily job logs that are available to the client on request, and believes in the elimination of esoteric (professional) terminology that obscures the client's clear understanding of matters being discussed. Clients are encouraged to ask the meaning of terms and the background to the planning process, construction, building regulations, fees etc. Finally, we believe in not just saying what we do, but also doing what we say.

Here are some examples our our work:
