|
Sinn Féin MEP Martina Anderson has said that the Narrow Water Bridge project is crucial to the development of the South Down and Louth region.
Ms Anderson said: "I will be meeting with interested parties including local political representatives, representatives of Newry and Mourne Council, Louth County Council, Cross Border Groups and representatives of various Chambers of Commerce.

"I recognise the value of this bridge to the entire region in developing economic prosperity especially in the tourism sector so it is important that we are all singing from the one hymn sheet in order to secure the funding.
"This meeting is designed to bring all the interested parties together to devise a strategy that will allow us to go forward with one united voice."
