Clifford Condemns Vandalism Of Machinery |

SDLP Creggan Cllr Jim Clifford has condemned those responsible for causing thousands of pounds worth of damage to machinery in Derry City Cemetery.
Cllr Clifford said: "This is a shameful act of mindless vandalism in an area which is sacred to many people.
- - - - - - Advertisement - - - - - - "Good progress was being made at expanding the cemetery and this will be a set-back to that important project being driven by Derry City Council.
"I strongly appeal to parents to be vigilant as to the whereabouts of their children, particularly over this summer holiday season, and for anyone with any information on who is responsible for this incident to pass it onto the police."
