Two Arrests Made In Shooting Incident |

Two men have been arrested following a burglary and shooting attack at Kilmoyle, Co Longford, yesterday.
At around 6.30am a man in his 30's disturbed three males who were on his property at the time. During the incident the property owner shot one of the men. The second mal escaped on foot and was arrested and a third male fled in a van stolen during the incident. He was arrested when Gardai intercepted the van on the N4.
- - - - - - Advertisement - - - - - - The injured man was taken to Mullingar hospital.
The two men arrested are currently being detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Longford Garda Station.
