Five Years For Woman Who Robbed Taxi With Sringe |
|
A woman has been sentenced to five years in jail for robbing a taxi driver while threatening him with a syringe. The robbery occurred after the driver turned down her sexual advances.
30-year-old Mary Ward had propositioned the taxi driver, quoting him prices for various sexual acts. However when he declined it quickly became a robbery.

The first driver told her he kept his money in the boot and as they went to the back of the car, he grabbed Ward by the wrist. She fled and got another taxi, where she produced the syringe again.
The last two years of her sentenced have been suspended.
